Rodrigo Corral Design is run by Rodrigo Corral, the creative director at large for New Directions. Corral's first major project with ND was to help conceive and design The Way it Wasn't, a scrap book of this company's history. Cover art by RCD is done both in-house as well as through commisions from award winning designers. For New Directions' 75th anniversary RCD designed new ND stationary, and hired Felix Sockwell to redesign the New Directions colophon. Corral has taught at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and lectured around the country. His daughter appears on the cover of César Aira's How I Became a Nun.
